How to claim your £400

Sign up here – Download the Barclays app from the App Store or Google Play and open a sole Premier Current Account (no joint accounts). You must be a new current account customer.

Meet the Premier account eligibility – To qualify, you must: Be 18+ and a UK resident, earn a gross annual income of £75,000+ OR hold £100,000+ with Barclays in savings/investments (or a mix of both).

Complete a full switch – Use the Current Account Switch Service (CASS) via the Barclays app by 30 April 2026, including at least 2 active Direct Debits.

Pay in £4,000 – Add at least £4,000 to your new Premier account within 30 days of opening. This can be via your switch balance or separate payments.

Get paid – Barclays will text you once you’ve met all conditions, and your £400 bonus will be paid within 28 working days.
