Barclays is one of the UK’s biggest high-street banks. Their latest Premier Current Account offer pays you £400 free cash when you switch, plus you’ll unlock exclusive savings rates, lifestyle perks (including Apple TV+), and access to dedicated Premier support.

To claim your £400:

1. Sign up here – Download the Barclays app from the App Store or Google Play and open a sole Premier Current Account (no joint accounts). You must be a new current account customer.

2. Meet the Premier account eligibility – To qualify, you must: Be 18+ and a UK resident, earn a gross annual income of £75,000+ OR hold £100,000+ with Barclays in savings/investments (or a mix of both).

3. Complete a full switch – Use the Current Account Switch Service (CASS) via the Barclays app by 30 April 2026, including at least 2 active Direct Debits.

4. Pay in £4,000 – Add at least £4,000 to your new Premier account within 30 days of opening. This can be via your switch balance or separate payments.

5. Get paid – Barclays will text you once you’ve met all conditions, and your £400 bonus will be paid within 28 working days.

*You must be a new Barclays current account customer.

**If you genuinely earn £75,000+ per year (you don’t need to deposit £75,000 in one go or hold £100,000 in savings unless using that route), you can open the Premier account, complete the full switch, pay in £4,000 within 30 days, receive the £400 bonus once paid, and then switch away later — provided you met all eligibility criteria at the time of payout.
