EarnOS / ero – We tested this new app and made $6 in minutes (£4.56) 💸

Table of Contents

We’ve been testing a new app called ero by EarnOS, and it’s a pretty interesting one if you like quick, simple ways to pick up a bit of extra cash from your phone.

It’s available on iOS and Android, and instead of surveys or long offers, it pays you for completing short “brand missions” from companies like Disney, HSBC, Adidas, Temu, Baskin-Robbins and more.

We tested it and made $6 (£4.56 at the time of writing) in a matter of minutes just by completing a few quick missions. Once it hit the account, we moved it straight onto the spend card and used it like normal money.

If you want to try it:

    • Download EarnOS here

    • Complete up to 3 missions per day

    • Withdraw or spend instantly via their built-in card

    What is EarnOS?

EarnOS flips the usual rewards model on its head a bit.

Instead of spending time grinding offers or filling out surveys, you complete short branded interactions called “missions”. These are usually quick, structured tasks like:

    • Watching a short 30–90 second video

    • Verifying a simple account (Spotify / Amazon etc.)

    • Signing up to a brand newsletter

    • Following a brand on social media

    • Completing a quick engagement step

Each completed mission pays around $2 instantly, which is credited straight to your account. There are higher paying missions but the simple ones pay $2.

    Our test result

We ran a quick test and:

    • Earned $6 (~£4.56) in just a few minutes (completing Lacoste, Disney & Uber).

    • Payments landed instantly after each mission

    • Took under 10 minutes total

Once it hit the account, we transferred it onto the spend card and used it straight away as normal spending — no waiting around for withdrawals.

    Daily limit (worth knowing)

You can only complete 3 missions per day, so it’s not something you can binge.

But because each one pays around $2, it still adds up quickly for very little effort if you check in daily.

    Cashing out

Once you reach around $5, you can:

    • Withdraw to your bank account (there was a ~£1 fee here so we used the virtual debit card)

    • Or use their virtual debit card instantly

The card option is what we tested — it worked straight away and could be spent online like a normal card balance.

    What makes it different

Unlike most reward apps, EarnOS focuses on real brand engagement missions rather than traditional offerwalls.

    So instead of:

    • long surveys

    • app installs

    • or game grinding

You’re essentially getting paid for very short interactions directly with brands.

It’s a more “direct attention for cash” model, which is why it’s been getting attention recently after raising funding and pitching itself as a new way for brands to reach real users.

    Brands we saw

During testing we came across missions from:

    • Disney

    • HSBC

    • Adidas

    • Temu

    • Baskin-Robbins

    • Sunglass Hut

    • Montblanc

Most follow the same simple pattern: complete a quick action → get paid instantly.

    Where it’s available

    Currently rolling out in:

    • UK

    • US

    • Canada

    • Australia

    • select EU regions

    Final thoughts

This is one of those apps that takes a few minutes to understand, but once you’ve done a couple of missions, it becomes very straightforward.

In our test, we made $6 (~£4.56) in minutes, moved it onto the spend card, and used it immediately — which is about as frictionless as these things get.

There’s a daily cap of 3 missions, but if you’re happy to check in once a day, it’s an easy add-on to have running in the background.
