Whether you’re a student picking up your GCSE results this week – or a proud parent or grandparent cheering them on – there are plenty of ways to celebrate without spending a fortune. From free meals and desserts to surprise giveaways, loads of restaurants and brands are offering results day deals to help mark the occasion. Reminder the big day takes place on the 21st August this year!

🍔 Food & Drink Freebies

Banana Tree – Free chicken or tofu Pad Thai when you buy a starter and drink. Sign up for the voucher online and show your results slip.

Bella Italia – Free starter and dessert with any main. Valid for up to six people per table.

Bill’s – Free dessert with any main when you show your results.

Bird & Blend Tea Co – Free drink from the summer menu (iced tea, iced matcha etc). No minimum spend – just show your slip.

Byron Burgers – Two-for-one burgers when you show your GCSE results slip.

Côte Brasserie – Free dessert and a £10 voucher with your results. If you passed a French exam, you also get a free Steak Frites or Vegan Burger.

🎓 Tips for Claiming Your Freebies

✅ Bring proof – Most places need to see your results slip. Some may also ask for student ID or proof of age.

✅ Book ahead – Restaurants get busy on results day, especially if you’re going with friends or family.

✅ Check the T&Cs – Some offers have time limits, location restrictions, or minimum spends. You may also need to sign up to loyalty schemes or apps first.

✅ Follow on social media – Restaurants often announce last-minute freebies and changes on their socials.
