Chip is rewarding existing with £30 (cash or gift card) when you deposit at least £100 into any Chip investment fund between 30 May and 23:59 on 10 June 2025. Whether you’re opening your first General Investment Account (GIA) or Stocks & Shares ISA—or topping up a zero-balance investment account—this bonus makes it a great time to get started.

What Is Chip?

Chip is a UK fintech app that allows you to save and invest all in one place. They offer a range of savings and investment accounts.

Who’s Eligible?

You qualify if, as of 30 May 2025, you either:

• Have never opened a Chip investment account (GIA or ISA), or

• Have an existing Chip investment account (GIA or ISA) with a zero balance.

ISA transfers and uninvested-cash deposits do not count toward the required £100 minimum.

How to Claim Your £30 Bonus

1. Open and/or top up your Chip GIA or Stocks & Shares ISA (or a combination of both). *This link also gives you access to the deposit ‘£500 cash get £30 promo’ / they can be combined (see below).

2. Deposit at least £100 (into a fund) in one or both accounts between 30 May and 10 June 2025. You could consider investing into a historically stable fund like the S&P500, it tracks the performance of 500 of the largest US companies.

3. That’s it! As long as your qualifying deposit is processed by the 10th June midnight deadline, you’re in.

4. Remain invested! It doesn’t specify this, but usually you will need to remain invested until the promotion is paid out.

Don’t worry if your investment takes a few days to settle—Chip will count any deposit made before the deadline.

When and How You’ll Be Rewarded

• By the 15th July 2025, Chip will send you an email (to the address on your account) inviting you to choose £30 as either a gift card or cash.

• You’ll have 90 days from that email to claim your reward before the link expires.

• Only one £30 reward per person.

Key Terms to Note

• ISA transfers do not count towards the £100 deposit.

• Uninvested cash (i.e. funds sitting in your Chip cash balance) doesn’t qualify.

• Fees - on the Chip Standard plan you will pay a 0.25% annual platform fee (minimum of £1 per month). For this promotion you’re therefore likely to incur £2 worth of fees. We contacted Chip and they have confirmed that once you sell your investment you’re no longer liable to paying the fee. If you withdraw you’re invested they will debit the fee to your card on file at the end of the year.
