Its business accounts are issued via its partner Prepay Technologies Ltd (PPS), which is authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
Because it’s an e‑money account, it does not qualify for the usual bank deposit protection from the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).
Instead, customer funds are “safeguarded” — kept separate from Countingup/PPS’s operational funds.
