The Bank of Scotland is Scotland's oldest bank and a major commercial and retail banking institution, part of the Lloyds Banking Group. Right now, you can switch to Bank of Scotland and get a £175 bonus.

To claim your £175 bonus:

  1. Sign up here - apply online to switch a current account held elsewhere (make sure you go through the Current Account Switching Service).

  2. Switch to a new Classic, Silver or Platinum account, including those with Vantage.

  3. Transfer a minimum of 3 active direct debits from your old account.

  4. Meet all the conditions, and they will pay the £175 into your account within 14 working days of your switch starting.

You can’t take part in the offer if:

  •  You open a Student Current Account, Smart Start, Under 19’s or a Basic Account

  • You switch from a Halifax or Lloyds current account.

  • You change your existing account you hold with Bank of Scotland to a differentBank of Scotland current account.

  •  You’ve received a switching offer since 01 January 2023 for switching to any Lloyds, Bank of Scotland or Halifax Bank account.

    • Complete a full switch via CASS

    • Meet deposit and direct debit requirements

    Existing customers are usually not eligible.

  • You normally need at least 2 active direct debits.
